Wildlife Blackberry Gelato - Pharma meets cannabis

With Blackberry Gelato, a new strain has been added to Adrex Pharma‘s medicinal cannabis range. The THC-dominant hybrid flower originates from Canada and is sourced as part of a new partnership with Wildlife – a producer that specializes in the production of standardized and high-quality cannabis strains in greenhouses.

A key quality feature of Wildlife is the way it is grown: the plants are cultivated in a hybrid greenhouse system that specifically combines natural sunlight with artificial supplementary lighting. This controlled environment allows a constant supply of light energy to the plants throughout all stages of development – regardless of the weather or time of day. The aim of this cultivation method is to promote an even and balanced development of the plants, which is reflected in a distinct terpene and cannabinoid profile. This approach helps to achieve a high concentration of effective ingredients without completely sacrificing the natural growing conditions.

Blackberry Gelato develops a complex, characteristic aroma profile. Fruity berry notes form the basis, complemented by subtle hints of maple, fuel and warm spices. These impressions are due to the terpene profile it contains, which includes caryophyllene, limonene, farnesene, linalool and myrcene – terpenes that are associated with calming, mood-enhancing or pain-relieving properties in medicinal applications, for example.

After harvesting, the flowers are dried hanging, then carefully trimmed and post-processed to provide a high-quality, gently processed end product. The result is a uniform flower with stable quality and a defined active ingredient profile.

Blackberry Gelato can be used therapeutically in various areas – for example for chronic pain, sleep disorders, inner restlessness or as an accompanying measure for mild depressive moods. Due to its relaxing, yet clearly structured effect, the variety is particularly suitable for use in the evening hours.

With Blackberry Gelato, we are launching the first variety from our new collaboration with Wildlife. Further cultivars from this Canadian production are already in preparation and will be added to the Adrex Pharma range in the coming months. With this step, we are pleased to add further standardized and patient-oriented products to our therapeutic range.
